How did UnScape get taken down?

Thats the main question behind our beloved server. I know alot of you want details on its whereabouts, but none can be disclosed. I don't know whats happening either, so don't ask.

Here's some information I do happen to know:

Remember Power Pally? The ol' kid who decided to donate over 1000 dollars to UnScape, where we later found out that all the money was chargebacked? Well from what I've discovered, UnScape was taken down all because of Power Pally.

The money Power donated has a claim, a JAGEX claim which resulted in his chargeback. Under Paypal rules: You cannot charge to a stolen credit card or to a user's card without permission. JAGEX started to make claims on Paypal charges that were going to "Illegal" Private Servers.

After the chargeback, Power was demoted, and of course UnScape remained for a couple more weeks.... until, the JAGEX claim took it off the net. Or its a case in court.

If you miss UnScape, please give a thanks to good ol' Power.

Me and power were cool friends he was my jap but when I heard about this he told me on msn his dad didn't want him spending his monkey on 'junk' so they did a chargeback. After then we weren't real good friends. Damn I can't believe jagex. There real incredible aren't they?

Well, UnScape will always remain the number one server to me, it's a shame for those events to take place in the first place.

So you were only his friend because he gave Unscape money?

Then after it got charged back, they weren't friends. Personally, if one of my friends did that, I wouldn't quit being their friends.

To me, it would show the person wasn't trustworthy and was a sneaky bastard, hence, I would no longer be there friend.

Although JaGeX had no real hard evidence,
I doubt they would have logged in and taken screenies

Why ruin UnScape? There are so many other private servers bigger than it, and thanks to Pally, they found out about UnScape, which fucked it.

unscape was getting pretty big...

He's right. We were also nearing 100 donators when we were taken down, we had about 97 registered donators if I remember correctly.

Ok officially I hate pally. I found him on Dankscape and he called me a hob knocker and then booted me from server [hes a admin] also the owner told me that he donated o_o I quit dankscape like last week o_O

Well since we already know how UnScape was taken down, we might as well lock this for now, and it'll stay here for people who want to know, but can't post in it.
